The Mosin Nagant Rifle Book on Kindle

Excellent! All I will ever want or need to know (until new info comes along) about this oldie but goodie Russian Combat rifle. I recommend it. Kindle makes it easy to access and when it is on the computer too, it is a ready reference. One problem I would like to see fixed: I know about copy right laws so I mean this in the most legal sense...I would like to be able to copy and paste some of the text or pics and drawings to some files from time to time...for educational purposes and for my own use. Kindle (as far as I can tell does not allow this). But the book is great.

Must Have for Mosin Enthusiasts

This book is a translation of a Soviet manual on the Mosin Nagant, one of the most-used and most produced bolt action rifles for the first half of the 20th. century. It is also a common import, available quite inexpensively and very easy to use and shoot. Anyone who owns, or wants to own, a Mosin should pick this book up. The only drawback is there is a loss in translation and some of the information is not as easy to understand as if the book were written in English to begin with.

The go to book on Mosin Nagants

The only thing I would like to see is in the future a deluxe illustrated edition of this book showing more markings and information that helps you point by point on getting an I.D. on where your rifle came from and where rifles been. The section on Finnish rifles is great and I'll be getting plenty of use from it looking for collector pieces and gunshows.
